Steve has a new home

Hi everyone, I’m the developer of Steve.

If you came from r/StevesPlayer: that subreddit is gone. Reddit permanently banned the account behind it, and the community went with it, including every thread, tip and feature request you posted there. I’m sorry it ended that way.

So Steve now has a home of its own, right here. It runs on our own server under stevelibrary.com, so nobody can switch it off.

What you can do here

  • Feature Requests: suggest ideas and vote on others. The most-voted requests directly shape what I build next. Search first, and add your vote if the idea already exists.
  • Help: ask anything about using Steve. Mark the reply that solved it so the next person finds it.
  • Bug Reports: tell me your device, iOS version, Steve version and the steps to reproduce.
  • Show Your Library: share your setup and your Listening Stats.
  • Music Resources: where you buy music, how you rip and tag it, and tools you swear by.

A few ground rules

  1. Be kind. Everyone here is a fellow music lover.
  2. One idea or bug per topic, so votes and fixes stay clear.
  3. Legal sources only. Share stores, tools and tips, never pirated downloads or links.

If you were part of the subreddit, please share this link with anyone who’d want to know where we went: https://community.stevelibrary.com

Thanks for sticking with Steve. :headphone:
